BEWILDERING other oriented ontology

Heading off to the University of Connecticut at the invitation of the College of Agriculture, Health and Natural Resources to share few Scapethical’s innovations of ethical landscape apparatus. The globalization of environmental knowledge in the 21st century is fostering critical ecological pedagogies, stimulating informal exchanges outside the privileged circles that monopolized debates to replicate supposedly innovations until then.

By examining some projects and dynamics carried out internationally by SCAPETHICAL in which genuine environment ethics prevailed, we will explore other oriented ontology which remains anchored, surviving discreetly as sidelined by our speculative economies. We will proceed to an inventory of the advances and failures of some knowledge regimes currently in action in the field of environmental ethics applied to the common good.

Emerging Sciences of Nature reassessing “non-human” biosphere’s components, of which landscape architects have always been dedicated to empowering beyond unsustainable neoliberal societies, are currently undergo considerable mutations. In conclusion, we will scrutinize certain Global Political Ecologies enlightening our bewildered times.
