The singular resilience of Japanese environmental politeness towards humans and non-humans leads us to renew a dialogue with our regular interlocutors and visit various Japanese atmospheric design.

As part of our current inquiries, we aim to gain a deeper understanding Japan’s capacity to pursue a respectful and innovative environmental pedagogy at the heart of contemporary turpitude.

This prompts us to reactivate precisely our questions around the Sovereignty [Pugnacity] and the justness of associated environmental ethics [worldliness].

Revisiting Mito, Tsuchiuria, Tsukuba, Tokyo, Kyoto, Nara, Kobe, we meet and discuss with local partners the vitality of a peculiar resilient politeness pedagogy in the midst of ecological & ontological turmoils.

This is to comprehend where such knowledge is acquired ; is it rooted in a non-secular Shinoist Vitalism where “holy life is in everything” and/or is central to family and educational pedagogy ? How singular or expressed differently in other areas do we come across ? To what extent do we come across as unique or differently expressed in other areas ? And what parallels and divergences exist (e.g., Leibniz’s vitalism) ?
