Site perso. : Scapethical

Supertight Models for Living and Making Culture in Dense Urban

The rapidly growing large cities of Asia are critical to understanding our future footprint. Asian cities provide insights into new ways of being densely urbanised. Speculative Growth of Conservation Narratives

As culture appears in governmental policy when its disappearance starts, heritage becomes a concern when its local meaning vanishes. The difficult integration of environmental ethics within our capitalocene is a major obstacle to their revival. It becomes clear after innumerable tries to force native societies to embrace our harmful and unsustainable strategies that it would be better for our compromised ecosystem if we adopted timeless customs and practices. Regretfully, the rejection of an ecological philosophy grounded (...)

SOILPLOITATION twisted food narrative

par Mannisi, Alban
The nutritional resource accessibility to urban population is a 21st century growing issue. It remains obscure as it is ingeniously shadowed by ultraliberal narratives of versatile built environment, agriculture, and real estate corporations. 15 years after the warning at the time of an Urban Farming Symposium in Tokyo toward the vicious tendencies exploiting food scarcity to fuel (...)

Servitude VAMPIRE TALES

par Mannisi, Alban
Built environment experts finally get the measure of our anthropogenic drifts through geo-engineering and computational automation (i.e., AI), having little intention to modify the extractive behaviours. Landscape, considered as the perception of our environment, places the human being in the foreground facing their responsibilities (...)

IMANENSI Environmental Construction of our Realities

par Mannisi, Alban
Environmental dynamics encompasses all our domains engaged by humans and non-humans, therefore those all that seek developments. Recently, ecological and ontological crises have reminded us of how much the “environment” had no geographical and sectoral limits ; It is everyone’s concern and depending on expertise and cultural landscape, our contribution differs. Through ongoing earth summits and (...)
